9th-Apr-2009 08:18 pm - CSU Summer Arts 2009
CSU Summer Arts offers two-week long workshops in theatre, dance, music, visual arts, creative writing, new media, and arts education. All workshops carry three units of transferable undergraduate or graduate university credit.

Summer Arts workshops are very intense, usually running 12-14 hours each day, including weekends. This structure provides a unique environment for working intimately with some of the best artists and master teachers in the world today.

The program will be located at CSU Fresno once again but students from all CSU campuses are encouraged to apply.

Check out the 2009 courses at http://www.csusummerarts.org/courses.shtml.

So, how did everyone's first week of class go?

I know we only have five members (and we will get more!), but I need to post about finding a place to live and a roommate this coming August. I prefer a two-bedroom, one or two bathroom apartment close to CSUB. Let's see... I am 23 years old, a graduate student, most likely will be working part-time, and have a pet rabbit. As a roommate, I am quiet, clean, studious, and do not drink, smoke, or party. I would like to live with someone who is similar in those respects. If you all have any leads, please let me know. Thanks!

Hey, my name is Seevan, and I'm the maintainer of this new community. I will be honest. I am from Kansas City and have never been to California, much less Bakersfield. I just got accepted into CSUB's masters psychology program for Fall 2006. But I like to be active at whatever school that I attend, so when I found no Livejournal community for CSUB, I decided to create one.
